This is a wonderful exercise. I've been striving to apply the Law of Attraction in many areas of my life right now and I keep bumping into that big stick!! I really like the idea of freeing myself from these things that keep looming in front of me by just getting them all out on paper and then turning them into positives or areas where I can grow. Thanks for sharing this assignment! I have to go write my list =)

Thankfully, the one I love the most has never given me a reason not to trust him and I hope he never will. But, I also know that if he did, given our history, I would give him a second chance…because love doesn’t just magically stop over night because you’ve been hurt by someone…so I would have to employ TTV…hmmm and while I’m at it do a little shopping, traveling, and remodeling all on his dime.

Great post. One of my favorite quotes is by Jim Rohn; “You must take personal responsibility. You cannot change the circumstances, the seasons, or the wind, but you can change yourself. That is something you have charge of.”
Thanks, Tom

Great article, proper mindset is paramount to achieving anything in life. Be part of the solution, not the problem is what I tell my son when he tells me he can’t do something.

Yes this is outstanding and so empowering! I love, what can I do now? it obviously assumes that I can do something. Another favorite of mine. How can I go direct to what I want?

It makes a lot of sense that in order to get something different we have to give up something we have. I find that people tend to like full lives and have a hard time parting with what they already have, but you make an excellent point in that a full life has no room left to grow into something else. It needs to be pruned back in order for new life to spring forth.

I think this may be something I will utilize out loud - not in an ultimatum kind of a way, but definitely in a mutual relationship-building way. Of course, I guess the other person would have to recognize that they broke my trust to begin with …
