As I was getting ready to turn 40 in April, I started thinking about my life. I realized that turning 40 was awesome as I know where I have been, know who I am, and I know where I want to be! I am grateful that I have the awareness of this, something I couldn’t say in my 20’s or even into the beginning of my 30’s. It has been a long and challenging journey to get where I am today but I am grateful for all that I have, and all that I am (NEVER thought I would ever say that).

Despite some miscarriages, I am grateful for the family that my husband and I have created. We have been blessed with one intelligent, beautiful, aware daughter…I am grateful for her everyday and thank God every chance I get.

Of course, there is always more that I want…more kids (we had planned on five!), more money…but I am completely grateful for all that I have and if this is it, I am satisfied!
