Gratitude Story #16: The Writer In Me

Dec 7th, 2007 | By Suzanne | Category: Gratitude, Guest Posts | |
    1. I am thankful for my writing teachers who see the potential of where I can go. They help me form the vision. I just need to pick up the faith and move. God made everything to reproduce after its kind. Little parts of my teachers are being birthed in me.
    2. I am thankful that today I can say that I am a writer and not feel self-conscious.
    3. I am thankful that God has given me the ability to weave a story.
    4. I am thankful for the poetry club in the third grade and for the book of poems my mother gave me.
    5. I am thankful for the teachers who made me painstakingly organize my writing.
    6. I am thankful for being able to listen to my mother’s poetry and the songs that she had written. I am thankful that my mother was a great story teller.I am thankful that I have lived to fulfill many desires that my mother never had the vision to accomplish. In this way I feel that I have extended her.
    7. I am thankful that my children are now able to listen to my writings and see the writer within themselves.
