It’s amazing what you can find when you search Google for ‘gratitude’. This story (click the link above) is about the recipients of $1,500 scholarships for single parents in college. In 2007, The Single Parent Scholarship Fund of Washington County was able to award 375 scholarships.
This is the kind of news I WISH filled our newspapers and news websites. Founded in 1984, SPSFCW is a shining example of recognizing a need and then taking on the responsibility of meeting it.
