Manage Multiple Priorities Without Losing Your Mind

Apr 26th, 2008 | By Suzanne | Category: Self-Care

Managing multiple priorities is something we all have to learn how to do to some degree or another to live the life we really want to live. We all have multiple roles we play in life (i.e. mother, coach, business owner, web designer, writer, housekeeper, chief cook and bottle washer…my list goes on and on!) Getting smart about the way you multi-task can actually make managing multiple priorities possible without losing your mind. What a concept, huh? Trust me, it’s worth it.

Because You Choose To, Not Because You Have To

Mar 9th, 2008 | By Suzanne | Category: Accountability, Workshops

Would that we could do everything we do in life because we want to, not because we have to, huh? But I wonder - where are the ‘have to’ things coming from? As adults, who’s in charge of us, bossing us around, telling us what we ‘have to’ do?
No one.
Every day we make thousands of [...]

Being a Habitual Creature Is Not All Bad

Jan 20th, 2008 | By Suzanne | Category: Accountability

What we pay attention to grows. We are ‘paying attention’ to something every moment. Trouble is, we’re not always paying attention to what we’re paying attention to.
Say what?
Said another way, we’re not always conscious or deliberate about what we’re paying attention to. We’re creatures of habit. Much of the time we are on automatic pilot. [...]

One Resolution Will Do

Jan 6th, 2008 | By Suzanne | Category: Accountability

We’re nearly a week into the new year, and I have yet to talk about New Year Resolutions. Why? Well, for starters, I’m sure you’ve been inundated with advice and encouragement to set some goals for the new year, so you probably don’t, by now, need any prodding from me. And truth be told, I’m [...]
